    The Lagos Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN), has commiserated with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and the church’s General Overseer,Enoch Adeboye and individuals over the death of a pastor and members who died last Sunday, following an explosion from a Boko Haram suicide bomber attack in a parish of the church in Potiskum, Yobe state.

In his condolence message, Apostle Bamgbola said; “In all things we give thanks to the lord, we condole with individuals, families and churches that have been affected by this attack, we are praying for you and we believe that with God all shall be well in Jesus name.  Please accept our condolence from the Christian Association of Nigeria, Lagos Chapter.
“We condole with our father in the lord Pastor Enoch Adeboye and the leaders of the churches that have been affected by the bombing. We believe that with God all shall be well in Jesus name.”
For the special thanksgiving prayer program, the state’s chairman said that the entire people of different religions in the state deserve to give thanks to God as He has answered prayers in taking control of the elections and leadership seats both at the state and federal level.
His statement: “The entire people of different religions in the state deserve to give thanks to God.  For us God deserves our appreciation and special thanks. Firstly, we prayed to God over a four-year period since 2011 till the elections of 2015, that God should give us a Christian governor to succeed His Excellency Babatunde Raji Fashola, after sixteen years of our sincere and faithful support for two successive Muslim governors. Indeed God answered our prayers!
