TOPIC: DISCOVERING AND RECEIVING YOUR MINISTRY  – ACTS 9:18-19
For the next five days, I want to share with you certain keys to discovering and receiving your ministry. Pay attention and take heed to them keenly.

1. You must have a revelation: Scales fell from the eyes of Saul. The devil uses all kinds of scales to block and blind people’s eyes to their ministry. Scales of sin, tradition, fear, competition, and comparison. Scales can make you see what God is not showing you, it can also blind you totally. If you are going to have anything in the kingdom, it begins with revelation.

What you know of God is not just what somebody told you but what you have a revelation about. Christianity runs on the wheels of revelation. Revelation is an unfolding or an unveiling in your heart. Revelation is progressive.

You cannot enter into your ministry by tradition, only by revelation.

2. You must be full of the Spirit: You need to be full of the Spirit, it takes the fullness of the Holy Ghost to accept your ministry. Acts 6:3 says “Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business”.

The fullness of the Spirit is what enables us to be flexible in the hand of the Holy Ghost. It is what guides us against being rigid about our plans or take offence when the Holy Ghost decide to move in a different direction.

Most people don’t accept their ministry because they are full of traditions and other strange things. You must allow the Holy Ghost to take you over so that you see things the way the Holy Ghost sees it.

PRAYER: Lord, I pray for the spirit of wisdom and revelation and that the eyes of my understanding be enlightened in Jesus’ name. Amen!
