I annouced here sometimes ago; that God’s servant, the general overseer of the redeem christian church worldwide – Pastor E.A Adeboye will be live in Amoyo for an open air crusade, Under the Redeem programme “Let Go a Fishing“.
Actually it was stated on the banner of advert i saw that the program was going to hold by 12pm, so i was there around few mins to 12 but as God will have it, we actually started the program 2:30pm without the presence of the man of God.
We only have around other men of God from RCCG in Ilorin.
I was patiently waiting for the arrival of the man of God, have read and heard so much about him but i have not been previleged to meet him one on one so i was sure that day, i will meet him, 3pm we continue, he wasn’t here, 4:30pm he wasn’t here, i began to contemplate if daddy G.O will still be here.
All of a sudden around 5pm, i saw the soldiers and the security officials lining up in a regular pattern, everywhere echoes so much; as a tall man, i don’t have to stand to see what’s going on, so in my seated position i was looking forward; all of a sudden i saw this big bus, with an official and a peculiar kind of long big van which am not sure it is worthy to be called a bus, because it as a unique look and have never seen such kind of model before.

Though the praise and worship was going on; i noticed everyone keep shouting and celebrating and it was as if we have all left what the choirs on the stage when doing, when i saw the man of God for the first time in my life, he came down out of that unique long van with his tambourine in his hand, without wasting time he mount the pulpit that as been prepared for him by the officials’ Pastor adeboye began with greetings, he greeted us and told us if not that God sent him to Lagos, he would have loved to live in Kwara state, as he considered it one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria, he had a good time lecturing in University of Ilorin during his stay here.
Then he went further to lean down and worship God with a song – ‘oh come let us adore him oh come let us adore him oh come let us adore him; He his christ the lord!
Then he began to preach, i must confess, he is an honorable man of God, filled with the spirit of God; so heavily anointed, with such a good understanding and depth of the word of God.
He preached on ‘Peace that Surpasses all Understanding’.
So humble, carries and conveyed the nature of God beyond compare; in fact the joy of having him around, to preach and bless us makes me forget that i have spent so much hours waiting for his arrival.
I came to realize that we are so blessed in Africa; particularly in Nigeria; we have men that are burning for God heavily and as a result; our nation and territory is in good shape because of the mantles of carriers of the mandate of God that are here with us.
In the scriptures we know when the apostles or prophets of God comes to town, the land is blessed, so i invited my friend to the crusade and he really do thank me for bringing him into that platform of blessing.
I have watched so many sermons of daddy adeboye but i have not been under his ministration live, but so fortunate for me, i was there live on 23rd of december 2015.
I can also say RCCG as a commission is so blessed to have a man like pastor adeboye continue that great assignment after the demise of the founder.
I will never forget meeting pastor adeboye live for the 1st time in my life in 2015, that makes this year a superb one, even despite daddy’s age, he is still strong and healthy, well that’s the scriptures been fulfilled.
Pastor adeboye made it clear before he started his sermon that he as been on journey since 7am in the morning going to different states across the nation to be with them at the Let go a fishing meetings and crusade like this, and he was tired, he needs to rest so he stayed with us and bless us for like 30mins before left the crusade ground.
Now i can say he’s a pastor with an apostolic mandate and a prophetic grace, i bless God for his life and i pray that God will also continue to be good to us in Africa and bring us more potential men of valour in zion, that will herald the reign of God’s kingdom and the purpose of his agenda among men that nations will see and bow.
