TOPIC : WISDOM JUSTIFIED OF HER CHILDREN
Scripture :Luke 7: 35. But wisdom is justified of all her children.
Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter!
Psalm 104: 24. O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
This implies that the works of God have many sides and that these works are a function of wisdom! Works speaks of results(children)! So, wisdom produces works or results and it is these results that are referred to as children of wisdom!
What are the works or results or children of wisdom?
1. Long life (Prov.3:16): In continuation of where we stopped yesterday, we established that God wants us to live long, hence He gave us His wisdom to be able to escape untimely death. It is quite unfortunate that many are still dying young because they disregard the wisdom of God! For Instance,
The wisdom of God which is the scriptures said avoid the lifestyle of sin but many find it difficult to obey it! As long as you violate the word of God, the consequences will certainly catch up with you. Yesterday, we made mention of sexual sins and anger as what must be avoided! Next is:
C. Bitterness: This is one major cause of ulcer and defilement.
Hebrews 12: 15. Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
Hmmmm! You invite trouble when you allow bitterness in your heart. Do you know that permitting bitterness has a way of kiling you softly? Why the bitterness? Is it not because of unforgiveness! Wisdom says forgive and let go. But you said no, that is bitterness. How can you be praying to a Holy God while you carry bitterness in your heart?
D. Disregarding health laws. E.g poor hygiene, low quality of food and water. You cannot continue to feed your body with poisonous foods and the body will not react. Child of God, there are foods you must not eat! There are drinks you must not take eg alcohol and energy drinks etc! This is wisdom, avoiding what is not good for your heath. But lack of wisdom is abusing your body now and later crying to God for help.
2. Riches(Prov.3:16): God does not want you to be poor! There are several poor believers because they reject wisdom! Until you engage the scriptural prescription that makes for wealth and abundance, poverty remains with you. Many in the body of Christ are aware of this scriptural principles but are not ready to do anything about it. Until you are ready to do something, your story may remain the same. For example, the law of sowing and reaping must be obeyed to get out of poverty! It is not in knowing it is in doing. It is therefore wisdom to search for light and commit to do what has been revealed to you, then you are on your way to wealth.
3. Honour (Prov.8:18): God does not want you to struggle for honour, so He gave the key as wisdom! There is a way you walk in wisdom and wisdom will promote you to honour.
*Proverbs 4: 8. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her* .
Honour is a realm, but many think it is just a right, hence they fight for it and neglect the usher! The usher that will take you to honour is wisdom.
4. A life void of frustration:
*Ecclesiastes 7: 12. For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.*
When wisdom is on ground, your life is shielded from frustrating circumstances. Many believers are developing high blood pressure because of negligence of wisdom. Wisdom shows you the next thing to do, how to do and when to do it. If it is absent, frustration, struggle, hardship are inevitable.
Beloved, do you desire long life, escaping frustrations, riches and honour then you must be a student in the school of wisdom!
How do you become a student in school of wisdom ?
1. Be born again (Jn. 3:3)
2. Be in love with wisdom (Prov.8:17)
3. Acknowledge your need of wisdom (Jam. 1:5)
4. Ask for it (Matt. 7:7)
Remember this : Heaven is real and hell is real, where do you want to spend eternity. Make your choice today.

– Father thank you for your word to me today,
– Lord, I receive grace to love wisdom and enjoy the children of wisdom in Jesus name.

-The grace to obey scriptures that will lunch you into wealth and healthy life, receive it now in Jesus name.
– Receive the wisdom of healthy living in the name of Jesus.
