Arch Bishop Benson Idahosa Shared – His 1st Experience Raising The Dead – This is a Must Read!

The Late Archbishop Benson Idahosa shared a powerful testimony and his experience of raising the dead for the 1st time, this is a testimony that will surely bless some of you and transform you place before God and your realm in the spirit, Benson idahosa is one of the fathers of faith that as strongly work signs and wonder in the cause of heralding the reign of Christ kingdom on earth, he is sourced from benin city in The eastern part of Nigeria though his ministry cut across the world and he ministered in almost every nation around the world.


Benson idahosa is one of apostles of Christ that shows raw manifestation of the power of God, and proved of a truth that the weapon of our warfare are not carnal, like my friend will say – if its benson idahosa time that Boko-haram are doing all they are doing now, he will be in north, organize a crusade and even visit the sambisa forest and confront them in the face and there is nothing they can do because of the magnitude of the power of God, this man carries.


Nothing lesser than 25 people were raised from dead back to life during Ben Idahosa day, but right before he was called into ministry and before he started preaching, he has raised the dead for the 1st time, just as the saying goes, the first impression of every experience and encounter matters a lot.

I was privilege to watch this sermon at 12am in the mid-night, it was a blessing to my soul.



Now it was in a conference that he shared the sermon,  and the topic was – Raising The dead’. 

One of the mysteries and potent word God’s servant emphasized in the testimony is that – “Raising the dead is never a ministry it was just part of the signs and wonder Jesus promised for those that believe and follow him”.


He emphasized the scriptures in – Acts 26 : 8 – “Why is it thought incredible by any of you that God raises the dead?”

Also let check the scriptures at the Romans 4 : 17 – 22 – “As it is written , I have made you  the father of many Nations. [He was appointed our father] in the sight of God in whom he believed, Who gives life to the dead and speaks of non-existent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] Existed.

18 – “ [For Abraham, human reason for hope being gone, hoped in faith that he should become the father of many nations, as he had been promised, So [numberless] shall your descendants be.
 19 – He did not weaken in faith when he considered the [utter] importance of his own body, which was as good as dead because he was about a hundred years old, or [when he considered ] the barrenness of sarah’s [deadened] womb.
20 – No unbelief or distrust made him waver (doubtingly question) concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong and was empowered by faith a he gave praise and glory to GOD,
21 – Fully satisfied ad assured that God was able and mighty to keep his word and to do what he had promised.
22 – That is why his faith was credited to him as righteousness (right standing with God).
23 – But {the words}, it was credited to him, were written not for his sake alone,
24 – But [they were written] for our sakes too. [Righteousness, standing acceptable to God] will be granted and credited to us also who believe in (trust in, adhere to, and rely on) God Who raised Jesus our Lord from dead,
25 – Who was betrayed and put to death because of our misdeeds and was raised to secure our justification (our acquittal),making our account balance and absolving us from all guilt before God.  ”
Those scriptures we listed above is to show to that raising the dead is scriptural and is some of the things that God wants to use to prove to us that Jesus died and raise again and the resurrection power is still alive.

Now to the Testimony of God’s servant – Benson Idahosa’

He explains – I read some years back (38years back, as at the time he was preaching the sermon) Luke 1 vs 37 – “For with God nothings is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment”.

I also Read Matthew 9 : 18, 23, 24, 25, Also Mark 9 : 23 – And Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” 




WATCH THE SERMON – RAISE THE DEAD BY ARCHBISHOP BENSON IDAHOSA

This is the scripture that ignited me 35years ago, Matt 10 : 8, so i decided to go and visit my pastor and i asked him – Pastor have you raised the dead before?
 he said No!

I said Can I do it? He said YES!

So i took my bicycle, from 11am in the morning till 4pm, i was rdiing up and down in bening, looking for the one who is dead, and the only sign i could used to discover is to see a gathering, i have reach many houses but there were no dead people there.

I would ask everywhere i go, like this – Is anybody dead here?
They will say No!
I will say what about there?
The responses are NO! NO! NO!!
4pm i got to the number 6 or 7, i met them in tears, i asked what happen? 
They said a child is dead, I shouted Hallellujah!

They said what are you happy for?

I said i have been looking for the dead for the past 5hours, and now i found a 3years old child dead on he ground, i started praying, and it only seems the child died even the more, now i am kinda frustrated and the only way out is one door, no escape for me again’
OH GOD!!!

Then I turn to the bible and read where it says – Jesus drove all of them out of the house, so i also told them to go out “but now in my mind, i was searching a way out of their room” but i checked the scripture, and i asked for the name of the child with a holy anger with the last samson strength within me, i shouted her name and screamed come out! in the name of Jesus!!!

The baby passed her excreta on my shirt and i slapped her 3 times, you silly thing!!


Few minutes after i said a dead child breathing back alive!!!

That distraction didn’t make me know that she’s alive.

I began to dance, not minding the excreta on my shirt, and the whole family rejoices just like the case of lazarus in the bible, when all men marvel at Jesus and rejoice at the wondrous work he as done.

I screamed She’s alive!!!

That was my 1st testimony of raising someone from the dead.

And now all of them are many there at benin city, raised from the dead by the power of Jesus christ the Lord!

Another spectacular one happened in Ghana and the archbishop Benson Idahosa shared the story also, of a man – Painting a 7 storey building and he was on top and the ladder slipped and from the top to the ground, he fell and many people ran away, and his head splited into two, and i didn’t know what to do, and suddenly i heard the voice of the lord, – That is the works of the devil’ and i held the two heads together, i asked of his name, call him back in the name of Jesus and on the 4th time, he answered; today he is a living witness’ because he is now a pastor and The General in Ghana then, gave me an award for raising the dead.

All of those are the power of God at work, and to raise the dead is scriptural but don’t do it unless God tells you, there are many times people come to me and say  – Bishop can you raise the dead today?
I said No!
And then they further, but is it still possible?
The answer is YES!!!
Its not for a show, its the demonstration of the power of God at work and to validate the resurrection of the lord Jesus christ!
