Hear this truth: Life lived in assumption will end up in frustration.
Every product is accompanied with a manual , this is why God also ensured that we are accompanied with a manual – The Word of God – Is. 29:11-12, Is. 2:1, Ps. 40:5-7, Heb. 10:5-7, Jos. 1:8
This means, you are bound to malfunction without a clear understanding of what is contained in this manual.
The vision of every product is in the manual.
So God’s vision for all is better written than even spoken.
The bible, therefore, is a manual for living. Without it – the bible, Life will be under-lived or mis-lived.
A life well lived is impossible outside this book – the bible.
This is why, the bible is a book of visions.
It is a book where the manufacturer documented the provisions for His product.

But until the thief is caught and overpowered, our goods cannot be recovered – Pro. 6:30-31/ Lk. 11:21-22

Just as battles are common to life, victory ought to be common to the believer.
This means, winning battles in life is meant to be a common thing for the believer.
To ‘overcome’ simply means to ‘go over anything that comes your way.’
So, you are redeemed to be more than a conqueror and overcome everything Satan throws at you.
WHY AM I REDEEMED MORE THAN A CONQUEROR?
- HEAVEN IS THE HOME-COMING OF OVERCOMERS – REV. 2:7,11,17,26; 3:5,12,21
- YOUR TRIBE DOES NOT ALLOW FOR DEFEAT – REV. 5:5, ROM. 8:17 – ‘You belong to the Lion tribe…’
- YOUR DEFENDER NEVER SLEEPS NOR SLUMBERS – PS 121:4. Arch-Bishop Benson Idahosa, of blessed memory said, – ‘If an Antelope has the backing of a Lion, it can confront an elephant.’ Because of your back up, victory is guaranteed.

- GET HOLD OF THE WORD – HOS. 4:6. There is something very insightful in JOB 34:10, 31-32. Evil comes through 2 major ways:
- Sin
- Ignorance
The ‘sinful’ believer may be easily motivated to repent, but Ignorance is a deadly, if not the most deadly enemy of victory. That you are a child of God does not guarantee victory. You need a personal knowledge of what God has said or God’s Word about your situation in order for you to be a victor!
- CHOOSE A COMPANY OF CONQUERORS – PS. 1:1-6, PROV. 13:20
- PRESENT YOUR CASE – JAMES 5:14-15, IS. 43:26, IS. 41:21. We need to learn to approach any battle we face with relevant facts. It is not enough to pray, we must learn to pray aright – JAMES 4:3.
- DEMONSTRATE YOUR VICTORY – 1 SAM. 2:3, JER. 17:10. It is not our Lip Confession that leads to victory but rather Life Expression that leads to our victory. Believing God does not equal victory, rather it is actioned-believe that equals victory.
- CONFIDENCE IN GOD – HEB. 10:35, 2 KGS 18:19, PS. 37:1.
- REFUSE TO QUITE – MK. 11:24. You are almost there. Don’t quite. ROM. 4:20-21– ‘Stagger not…’ ‘Full persuasion.’
