Getting Set To Maximize The Blessedness of Shiloh Sacrifice – Shiloh 2015 ‘From GLORY TO GLORY’

Shiloh is a Prophetic Annual Convocation of the Winners’ family worldwide as drawn from Joshua 18 : 3 – And the whole Congregation of the children if Israel assembled together at Shiloh, and set up the tabernacle of the congregation there. And the land among the land was subdued before them. And there remained among the children israel seven tribes, which had not yet received their inheritance. Ans Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your fathers hat given you’?It is also written –“And the LORD appeared again in Shiloh: for the LORD revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the LORD” (1 Sam. 3:21).

From the above scriptures, it is clear that Shiloh is a platform for encounters with God resulting into possessing our possessions – Obadiah !:17, see also (Mal 3;6).

                           But there are two avenues among others through which God intervenes at Shiloh;
 First the Altar old Sacrifice – “And the man Elkanah, and all his house went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow” (1 Samuel 1: 21).
Secondly the Altar of Vows
– “And she vowed a vow, and said O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head.” (1 Samuel 1: 11)
However, we discover that;

  1. A sacrifice has to do with what one has, not what he is looking forward to have.
  2. A sacrifice all through scriptures is a onetime issue as illustrated with the following examples: Abraham – Gen 22:1 – 18; David – 2 Sam 24:24 – 25; Solomon – 1Kings 3:3 – 13.
  3. We should also remember that our God is never in need, He only wants to meet our diverse needs through the altar of sacrifice.
  4. As we all know, the altar of sacrifice is the altar of supernatural turnaround;
  5. That was the experience of Abraham when God swore a blessing on him in response to his sacrifice – Gen 22:17 – 18.
  6. This was also the experience of David at the threshing floor of Araunah; God stopped the plague in israel – 2 Sam 24:18-25.
  7. Solomon at Gibeon also experienced a Supernatural turn around. God came down and gave solomon a most enviable place in destiny – 1Kings 3:3 – 13.

It is in the light of the above that Shiloh 2013; each one shall offer his/her sacrifice unto God as he purpose in his heart and as he is able.

  We must also note that a sacrifice is not determined by its volume but by the cost it places on individuals 2 Sam, 24:24 – 25.

On the other hand, we also discover that vows carry powerful turnaround virtues. As it is written; ” Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a convenant with me by sacrifice; and the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself.” Psalm 50: 5 -6.

You will also recall how Hannah vowed at Shiloh, “Give me a man-child and i will give him to you all the days of his Life” and subsequently she returned to pay her vow with miracle.

Therefore, while a sacrifice is what we engage in for a turnaround, a vow on the other hand is our response to divine interventions in our affairs. Psalms 66: 12 – 15.
