Introduction:
- Every revelation delivers on the choice of individuals – Deut. 30:19I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
- God never forces His way into any man’s heart – Rev. 3:20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
- God will never demand from us what He has not empowered us to do – 1 Jhn 5:3For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
/ Jhn 15:16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
- Our obedience or disobedience to any commandment of scripture is absolutely a matter of our choice – Job 36:11If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures. / Deut. 28:1And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

God does not Reward Efforts Made, He Rewards Results Obtained
- God responds to results obtained not just our participation in a given task – Luk. 19:13-1913 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
- Luk 19:14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
- Luk 19:15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
- Luk 19:16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
- Luk 19:17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
- Luk 19:18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.

- Luk 19:19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
- We are rewarded for harvest gathered and not just contacts made – Jhn 4:35-36Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
- Joh 4:36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
- Remember, God does not reward groups, He rewards individuals – 1 Cor. 3:8Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. / Rev. 22:1-2And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
- Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

God does not Reward Efforts Made, He Rewards Results Obtained
- Heaven rejoices over one soul that is saved and not over efforts made – Luk. 15:7And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
- We are rewarded for results obtained and not for steps taken – Dan. 12:3And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
- Remember, God does not pay groups, He pays individuals – Jhn 4:35-36Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
- Joh 4:36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together. / Luk. 10:7And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

God does not Reward Efforts Made, He Rewards Results Obtained

- You cannot have a heart for God and not have time for Him – 1 Sam. 13:14But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee. / Pro. 23:26 My son, give me thine heart, and let thine eyes observe my ways.
- You cannot have a heart for God and not have passion for souls – Jhn 21:15-17o when they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me more than these? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my lambs.
- Joh 21:16 He saith to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? He saith unto him, Yea, Lord; thou knowest that I love thee. He saith unto him, Feed my sheep.
- Joh 21:17 He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep. /Psa. 119:46Remember the word unto thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
- Remember, God does not bless groups, He blesses individuals – Isa. 51:1-3earken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.
- Isa 51:2 Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
- Isa 51:3 For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody. / 2 Cor. 9:6-8But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
- 2Co 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
- 2Co 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

God does not Reward Efforts Made, He Rewards Results Obtained
- Every believer has a ministry of reconciliation – 2 Cor. 5:17-20Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
- 2Co 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
- 2Co 5:19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

- 2Co 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ’s stead, be ye reconciled to God. / Jhn 15:16Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
- No one ever changes class without personally writing the prescribed exam – Gen. 22:1nd it came to pass after these things, that God did tempt Abraham, and said unto him, Abraham: and he said, Behold, here I am. /16-18And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son:
- Gen 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
- Gen 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. / 1 Pet. 1:7That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
- Remember, God does promote groups, He promotes individuals – Psa. 75:6-7For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
- Psa 75:7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. / Luk. 10:17-19And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.
- Luk 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
- Luk 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

God does not Reward Efforts Made, He Rewards Results Obtained
- A great coach does not make a star, but every star is made through personal discipline, dedication, and sacrifice – Jhn 12:24-26Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
- Joh 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
- Joh 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. / 1 Cor. 9:24-26Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
- 1Co 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

- 1Co 9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
- One may coach a potential wrestler, boxer, or an athlete, but each one has to do the wrestling, boxing, and running by himself – 1 Cor. 9:24-26Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.
- 1Co 9:25 And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

- Remember, no one ever wins a prize in any race without his personal dedication – Phi. 3:13-14

- God rewards reapers and not just participants – Jn 4:36nd he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
- Turning many to righteousness makes star and not just attempting to turn – Dan. 12:3And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
- Remember, God does not honor groups, He honors individuals – Jhn 12:24-26Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
- Joh 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
