God is the father of light.

He has distributed this light into us so therefore we are lights.

But there’s something else.

As a christian, God has given us abilities/gifts/talents that convert this light into what the world and souls will benefit from.

James 1:17 says “…every good and perfect gift is from above and comes down from the father of lights…”

God is willing to release His light into us only if we’re ready to do our part by using that good and perfect gift He has created in us to blow it out.

Besides, no light is useful when covered. Our level of dedication and surrendering determines how bright the light will be.

How bright is your light?

Ps.

So straight metaphors here; God gives the light (the match stick), if you don’t transfer it into your gift/ability (the lantern) it eventually burns out.

Bless others by sharing this post.
