MAKE GOD’S WORD YOUR STANDARD FOR LIVING
EVERY TIME YOU ARE SAYING LEAVE THE BIBLE ALONE, YOU ARE SAYING SATAN TAKE OVER BECAUSE BIBLE IS OUR SUPREME AUTHORITY
EVERY TIME YOU SAY, “I DON’T BELIEVE THE BIBLE,” YOU ARE DISRESPECTING GOD
IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE LIVING BY THE WORD OF GOD, WHATEVER GOD SAYS IS THE FINAL AUTHORITY
We are in a generation where people don’t receive God’s Word. They say, I have my opinion, that’s the generation we are in. You say God’s Word says so; they say you can go with your Word, this is my opinion. Every time you get to that point, you are not living by the Word because when His Word comes, our opinion is suspended. If you know you are living by the Word of God, whatever God says is the final authority.
It is impossible to live by the Word without the knowledge of the Word. Hosea 4:6. So you cannot live by what you do not know, you can only live by the Word of God if you know the truth. Grow in the knowledge of God’s Word and commit yourself to doing what you know. Don’t remain at the same level forever, shift from where you are to another level. Having knowledge of the Word without doing it is a waste. Some of us we have knowledge but we don’t do what we know. We know all the scriptures but we don’t practice any of the Scriptures. Some people know so much but do a little and so, nothing to show for their Christianity.
If you keep quoting and you don’t do what you quote there will be no reflection of it. True? You say love your wife, submit to your husband, pay your tithe, and then you are not doing any of them will it show? Honour your father and thy mother it will be well with you but everybody you see, you insult.
You know, we are in a generation where children don’t respect parents that is why the calamities in this generation, they are too many. You even hear people say, “who is he? We are all equal.” Your father and you will never be equal. There’s no day your parents will be equal with you. Bible says, “honour thy father and thy mother that it may be well with thee.” If you don’t honour them it will never be well with you.
Every time you are saying leave the Bible alone, you are saying Satan take over because Bible is our supreme authority. This is the constitution of Heaven, it’s the manual for living. Every time you are saying drop the Bible, you are saying drop God because this is God. If I tell you to do something and you don’t do it, you have disrespected me. True? Every time you say I don’t believe the Bible you are disrespecting God.
That you do not see Him does not mean that He does not exist and we know He must be respected. Make God’s Word your standard for living. Above everything we have said in this first service, if you are living by the Word, whatever you and I do, we must make sure we make Heaven. Mark 8:36-37. Making Heaven is the ultimate goal of life of every child of God. 1 Corinthians 9:27 (MSG)
