Serving God Pays!
Serving God pays the most and pays the best
– Job 36:11, Exo. 23:25-27
In the world, the kind of employer you have determines your pay. You cannot be working for the most high and remain most low.
It is important to know that you are not serving a taskmaster. You are serving a rewarder – Heb. 11:6
When you are due for your pay from heaven, even if all hell breaks loose, they cannot stop it.
God can pay you what a lifetime of savings cannot deliver to you.
Many are just using God as Father Christmas; they are not truly serving Him. That is to say, they are not serving His Interest but rather serving their interest.
We are not serving a heavenly banker; we are serving a heavenly father.
Hear this truth:
Like we heard at the Midst of the Year One Night with the King, Life is an adventure in opportunities! – Gal. 6:7-10
A wise man was said, “An opportunity lost can never be regained.”
Remember, we are prophetically in harvest time – Amos 3:7, Hag. 2:4-6
This midst of the year harvest season is summer time – Prov. 20:4, Prov. 10:5
It doesn’t matter how your body feels or the weather. In the kingdom, this is summer time! Don’t allow your winter jacket deceive you. The only way to keep warm is to work for the Lord. Hesh, if not you will shiver this winter O!
Only those who labour should expect a pay – 2 Tim 2:6
Can you imagine someone who has not worked all through the month now wanting to be paid like other staff? To be paid, you are either a worker or a stealer.
Kingdom Engagement is what leads to our Personal Advancement.
There is no other reliable rewarder like God – 1 Cor. 3:6-8, Rev. 22:12
If your rewards are not regular, check your investment.
For instance as a Pastor, this local church is not your rewarder! This commission is notmy rewarder! The members of the local assembly where I am privileged to serve don’t have my reward. GOD IS THE REWARDER because GOD IS MY EMPLOYER
God does not even need to use people in the church to bless me. He can use people from outside including animals!!!
No man can EVER pay you what God pays you!!!
A house can be built, decorated, and furnished for you and then the key handed over to you as your own house… Wake up!!! God is real.
When you are due, you are due and God pays you regardless of what men think about you.
Until you are labourer you are not qualified for a pay.
Hebrews 6:12
If you want to taste the kind of blessings and financial overflow that your fathers enjoy, line up with their approach to life!
AVENUES FOR SPIRITUAL STEWARDSHIP:
-Prayer and fasting for church growth, advancement and enlargement such as praying for salvation of souls, establishment of new converts and the rain of life-transforming word – Is. 66:7-8/ Ps. 2:8/ Col. 4:12/ Gal. 4:19/ 2Cor. 3:18
-Reaching out to the lost as every believer is ordained a soul winner and God is glorified when we bear much fruits – Jn. 15:16/ Jn. 15:8/ Lk. 14:23/ Jn. 4:35-36/ Pro.14:28
Please hear this truth: There are some questions that will never get answers in prayers. Some will only answer to Kingdom Stewardship.
Sitting down doing nothing is self-deception – Heb. 12:28
For our service to be acceptable it must be a godly and righteous service – 2 Tim. 2:19-21
WHO IS A STEWARD?
– One trusted with an assignment for profitable use.
– God’s representative and His interest here on the earth.
– A manager of something for God.
– A custodian of something for God.
– A Servant.
– He/ She is a Vessel.
Acceptable service has a lot to do with the spiritual quality of the person involved or offering the service.
There are Pastors that may never taste reward forever because their attitude is wrong and they have poison in them ready to bring down another person.
Every form of carnal orientation will bring you into frustration!!!
The approval of God is in PROOFS!!! – Proverbs 20:7
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom, which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire – Hebrews 12:28-29
Until your service is acceptable your reward and my reward is not in view – Philippians 2:3-9
DEMANDS OF ACCEPTABLE SERVICE:
- It must be done Willingly – John 10:17-18
- It must be done Cheerfully/ Joyfully – Deut. 28:47-48, 2 Cor. 9:5-7, Joel 1:11-12, Joel 2:21
- It must be done Expectantly – 1 Cor. 9:10, Rom 14:23,
- It must be done in Faith – Luke 1:45
- It must be done Faithfully – 1 Cor. 4:1-2. Where you are now, you are writing a test without knowing. If you are unfaithful, you will soon become unfruitful
- It must be done Diligently – Prov. 13:4
- It must be done Sacrificially – Romans 12:1, Heb. 13:15-16, Rom. 3:25. Diligence is doing your best but sacrifice is going beyond your best.
- It must be done Timely – Gen. 12:1-5, Gen. 17:10-14, 23-24
- It must be done with reverence and godly fear – Heb. 12:28-29
- It must be done in Obedience – 1 Sam. 15:22, John 2:5
- It must be done Lovingly – 2 Tim 1:6-7, Rom. 5:5. Serving the one you love is done stress-free. When the demands of Outreach are too much for you, then you don’t love God. There is a difference between loving the house of God and loving the owner of the House Himself.
- It must be done Meekly – Matt. 11:28-29
When Service to God is done acceptably, the following are the Rewards/ Returns.
RETURNS/ REWARDS ON SPIRITUAL STEWARDSHIP:
- It destroys yokes – Is. 58:6
- It gives express answers to prayers – Is. 58:9/ Jn. 15:16
- It brings divine direction – Is. 58:11/ Ezra 8:21-23
- It gives access to our high places – Is. 58:14/ Hab. 3:2-4/19
- It gives access to the flow of Divine Wisdom – Mk 16:20/Pro 13:30. Wisdom is what creates for you a kingdom!
- It gives All-round Rest – 2Chr 15:12-15. In this troubled world, the greatest benefit a believer needs to enjoy is Rest. All round rest is the same thing as all round peace. On the mission for Jesus, no matter the storm there is rest in the midst of the storm. Remember how Jesus calmed the storm?
If Soul Winning is so Profitable, How can I become an effective Soul Winner?
In Conclusion:
ENCOUNTER WITH DESTINY – Gen. 32:24-28/ 1Chr. 4:9-10
Let us be reminded that: Kingdom Engagement commits God to your Glorious Destiny.
Destiny is never encountered in a place of comfort.
Everyone Jesus called and made (Mat. 4:19), He found them busy doing something.
Until you are busy on the go and in prayers for souls, your colorful destiny may remain hidden.
This is why you have no option but to plug in today before it is too late.
The reason why God has called you to this banqueting hall today is because He wants to show you the path to a colorful destiny.
Until you rescue a dying soul, you may never experience a new and colorful destiny.
Please note the following:
– The last day is everybody’s day – Jn. 7:37-39/ Hab. 2:1-3/ Matt. 24:13
– Expect God’s power to level out all everlasting mountains and perpetual hills in our lives – Hab. 3:4-6
– But we must maintain our joy to secure our harvest – Hab. 3:17-19/ Joel 1:11-12/ Matt. 6:6
This is why I know, that this week, as we go out in search of souls, the Star in someone will come alive!!!
Someone will move from a black and white destiny to a colorful destiny this week by reason of tearful testimonies.
