Day Two
No church grows without the hand of God at work and without faith, we cannot secure the hand of God. “No one can come to me except my Father, which hath sent me draw him” (John 6:44, Isaiah 63:1).
No one can experience church growth without the hand of God at work and we provoke the hand of God by faith (Psalm 127:1). Every house is built by some man but He that builds all things is God. So, without the hand of God, we cannot experience church growth.
Sustainable church growth thrives on the hand of God at work. Why? He is the God of increase (1 Corinthians 3:6). He is the God of addition (Acts 2:47), He’s the God of multiplication (Jeremiah 30:19, Deuteronomy 1:11), He’s the city taking God (Deuteronomy 2:36).
– He’s the city delivery God and He is going with you from this mountain!
Acts 13:44, Acts 5:28 – He’s the city delivery God. Don’t forget, church growth is warfare and our winning ticket is strong faith to ward off the enemy of church growth and take delivery of the much people that God has for us in every city and town where we live. Don’t toy with your faith; it is your life wire in the Kingdom. It is to everyone in this Kingdom according to his faith (Matthew 9:29), not according to the faith of those who pray for you but according to your faith (Mark 6:5-6). Jesus is all faith.
Now, he laid hands on them with all the anointing, with all the revelation, yet they couldn’t access what He brought and He marvelled at their unbelief. That’s how important building your faith is.
“Papa, lay hands on me.” It doesn’t make any difference. No, your faith at work in you is what can draw-off that prayer, that decree; otherwise, you pray over somebody who will not repent, will he be saved? No!
You pray for someone who doesn’t believe in prosperity to prosper, will he prosper? No!
You say, I believe it. Prove that you do by obeying it – Show me your faith without works and I’ll show you my faith by my works. Are you a giver? Are you a tither or are you Melchizedek that collects tithe from others?
The kind of multitudes that God is talking about in the end time is not possible by power nor by might. It requires the hand of God.
What is in faith that provokes supernatural breakthroughs?
1). Faith provokes access to the power of God for our change of story. Somebody touched me Jesus said, because virtue is gone out of me.
“Daughter, thy faith has drawn virtue from me which has changed your story” (Luke 8:4-48). So, faith draws on God’s power to bring about our desired change of story.
“How shall this thing be?”
He said the power of the Highest shall come upon thee; it will generate a holy thing inside you without knowing a man. God’s power that changes the stories of men is accessible by faith.
Faith is our connectivity to the power of God and through the greatness of His power, shall his enemies submit themselves to him (Psalm 66:3). So, His power just subdues his enemies, including the gate of hell trying to stop the Church from growing forward. We tap into power by faith and that power subdues all His enemies so we can have a thorough fear in our church growth endeavour.
2). Faith provokes the stretching forth of the hand of God. First, to confirm His Word that we believe. “What God said to my father David, the same He has performed with His hand,” so when faith comes alive, God’s hand is stretched forth to perform His Word in our lives.
To make good His promise in our lives. Remember we said, the hand of God is only secured by faith (Isaiah 53:1). He stretches forth His hand when our faith comes alive (1 Kings 8:15).
3). Faith brings God person into our situation; God come down indeed. The picture of the fourth person is like unto the Son of God. That’s not an angel, God came down. Do you know what happened in the prison when Paul and Silas were shut in there? God came down, the Lord reigneth; let the earth tremble (Psalm 99:1, Acts 16:25-27). Faith brings God person into our situation and that is the end of all strive. When God steps in, forget about battles; it’s over.
2 Chronicles 20:20, 24
Faith is that covenant requirement to bring God down to our situation so He can take over the battle. We need to build our faith to secure God’s direct intervention when we are challenged.
Romans 8:31
– Somebody’s story is changing!
4). It triggers angelic interventions at will (Daniel 6:22). These angels excel in strength and they hearken to the voice of His Word, they will deliver whatever His Word commands when they step in and His command is as issued by us in line with His Word (Ecclesiastes 5:6).
They just pick it and run with it, they don’t hear come. They pick what you say and run it;
“Oh my God, I’m finished.” They help you to finish it
“I’m unstoppable.” They clear the barriers.
“I shall not die but live.” They take care of every arrow coming against you.
“Are they not ministering spirits. Sent to help the heirs of salvation”
Let me hear you say, “angels are at our command.” They don’t know jokes o.
“I think I’m done.” Okay, then you are done.
5). Faith reverses all seemingly irreversible (John 11:39). Faith has power to reverse the irreversible (John 11:43-44).
6). Faith provokes signs and wonders at will. When our last daughter was dying, I watched them take her from the prophet chamber to the hospital.
I smiled, I went to the office, had a devotion with the staff, got to my room, shut the door with a smile; “Jesus, there must be a way out.” – Four scriptures landed – spirit of death messed up; life recovered!
So, faith is not a belief system, it’s connecting with Heaven to determine the events on the earth. Faith connects us to Heaven in determining the events of our lives on the earth (Romans 6). You bring Heaven down to the earth, you provoke fulfillment of every prophetic scripture in your life.
Faith is key to driving supernatural church growth. My recommendation; go build your faith. Lay hold on proven faith materials, not those who are talking about it but those who have proved it and seek to find out what they must have found that makes the difference.
God’s word never grow stale, feed your life with the Word of faith. We have tens of thousands of workers in this place, we’ve never prayed one day; “oh God, bring them.” He brings Heaven down to the earth; you are not struggling with nothing. Just connect to Heaven and then, things are happening on the earth. That is faith.
Romans 10:6-8
So, go to them that sell and buy for yourself. I went to Hagin and bought into what God showed him. I went to Copeland and bought into what God showed him. He has not misdirected my steps Sir. I bought boldness of faith from the Archbishop Benson Idahaosa; you go to them that sell and buy for yourself.
Stop explaining your failure, wake up and deal with it. Faith is key to every impactful ministry, faith is key to church growth, faith is key; please get it well.

Every faith filled believer or minster is addicted to learning, addicted to studying. Paul the Apostle, “the cloak which I left with you when I was in Troas, bring for me when you are coming and the books and especially, my note.
So, it’s not reading for pleasure (2 Timothy 4:13) and he said to Timothy, study my friend; you don’t want to be ashamed, study. Build up, that’s the meaning. Build up your spiritual personality, build up on the Word of faith which He command.
Lift up your two hands and pray for grace to keep our faith alive, to keep our faith growing, to keep our faith stronger by the day. Take that grace from Heaven, in Jesus precious name we have prayed!
No wrestler wishes that his muscles develop itself, you consciously develop it. You commit yourself to developing it; you sacrifice yourself to develop it. Waiting for your muscle to develop itself is waiting forever, waiting for that to happen is wasting one’s life. It’s time to get into it. I shared yesterday, I think that Kenneth Copeland said, the Lord said to him, “Get back to all the teachings of Hagin since 1962, as you step into the next phase of your life.” So he went and charter all the tapes and started – at that age, with that level of exploits. Life in the Kingdom is a life-long school. Grace to be a consistent builder of your faith, so as to accomplish God’s ultimate agenda for your life, go ahead and receive it one more time.
No one reads his book once to write an exam. You read it only once? No, you read it till you understand it. I read Kenneth Copeland’s book on prosperity the fourth time with fasting; all these reading, “I have finished all the books.” What do you get? I learnt some very striking things from those who ministered in the morning today. I won’t tell you what they are but I’ll share the testimonies with you when they begin to happen.
I told you yesterday, if I have to read those books that I wrote, I’ll have to re-edit them because of new things I found. People say they are blessed. Great! But new findings make those ones kindergarten; new findings with new proof to match. Let’s set ourselves to grow our faith. Let’s commit ourselves to it. It’s more dignifying, far more
All the members of our little church, they know I’m not a beggar and when they run to me, I service whatever they need that is at my level with outmost excitement.
This thing works. No one wants to be a beggar, no one wants to be a failure. So, take responsibility and do what put you where you want to be. Build your faith.
We have some little books of faith here; The Lifestyle of faith is written by Bishop David Abioye. The Unlimited Power of Faith, I’ll prefer that you take this as a manual and work through it. First, what is faith, how does it operate? Don’t glance it ooo. It’s not newspaper.
Understanding the Power of Faith, it’s a little one, you can always run through that in a moment.
Exploit of Faith and then the number one book that we wrote; The Law of Faith, very basic, it doesn’t bite anybody.
I’m just walking through a line now that I hope not all of you will stone but, some may stone me on it; we are redeemed to operate at His frequency but we don’t know it yet. “I have said, ye are gods.” Not that they said for me, not that I sent them to go and say it. Where are we going now? I won’t tell you. You just connect with Heaven. As long as you remain human, you remain limited and your perspective is limited to humanism; you remain limited.
1983, somebody wrote to me and said, I’m not a god ooo, you are on your own. Even some of you are looking at me now with one kind of eye. But, it’s natural for the child of man to be human. The child of a cow, it is natural to be cowling. So, what’s the difficult thing in you saying you are a child of God and you are now human? Okay, take it easy.
“See, I’ve made you a god unto Pharaoh.” Exodus 7:1. They couldn’t even think of arresting him. He saw it, “See…”
Now, we did some things here, packaged some materials we call legacy publications; these are all the books we have till date on wisdom. You want them in your library, you can go and get them; Living to Please God, Prayer, Praise and Healing, Success. I said humorously, if you don’t understand Exploring the Secret of success, you will understand Success Strategy.
If you don’t understand Success Strategy, you will understand Success System. If you don’t understand Success System, you will understand Success Buttons. Whichever one, just understand.
We have Prosperity that Never Dries Up, The Holy Spirit – you can find out who He is, what He does, how He does it and how to engage Him. The Supernatural, Faith, The Word – what’s in the Word, what makes it thick, how do I engage with it, they are all there and then, Vision – to see where you are going and see it well. You can get them in your library and then you look at them towards building your faith, taking commands of the affairs of your life.
I’ll be alive to hear the Goodnews from you because you are going to the next phase of explosion.
– You are moving to the next phase of explosion!
– Light will be stricken in your direction!
– You’ll never get stranded once!
– It’s one glory level to another glory!
When God spoke to me about 50,000 seats sanctuary in 1982, I called it tent because there was no capacity to call it a building. No the first thing is, who will fill it? The people who sit down to start questioning God won’t go forward. I didn’t ask Him to tell me; He’s the One who told me. So, write it down the way He said it. Although I can’t accommodate the building nature of it, so call it tent but 50,000 people are going to be standing there. Now, why am I saying this? There are no ceilings on our destinies. You are faithful at one level; He moves you to the next.
Faithful at the next, to the next; shining more and more unto the perfect day. No ceilings, otherwise we will not be doing what we are doing now with our ceilings. So, that building you are in is not the last building. When you come in or going towards Canaan City, you’ll find a gate there, that was our boundary. It was concrete wall. We have edged ourselves inside it but after that, we went forward about 10,000 acres more. So, we broke a limit because there is no ceiling on the destiny of believers. That’s not your last building, that’s not your last car; no ceilings.
Humorous God, the basement of the new sanctuary will seat 44,000 if used for seating and why will it not be used for seating because we are putting air conditioner there and then, the foyers all around will seat 28,000. You are faithful at one level; you are going to the next. He came and saw what they did and then, he went back again. When next He come, He will now give them more (Luke 19:17-19). Thank God for where you are, that’s not where you are ending.
– You are not ending there!!!
– It’s only a phase, it’s a stepping stone; you are not ending there!
Show me your faith without your works and I’ll show you my faith by my works. That is, obey me believingly, then you have committed me. Not that you believe God and you go and sleep. Obey me believingly, how will this church grow? Pray, obey!
“How will this church grow?”
Go and bring forth fruit. Go, compel them to come by whatever you know righteously, structure it. So, it’s not “I believe God, we are growing, next phase, next level, hallelujah. I’m going, next level.”
You better fasten your seat belt and prove that you believe by doing what He says to do.
– Your faith will not fail!
Say with me;
“Faith is no cheap talk; faith is hard work. Hard work to build, hard work to prove.” Let us therefore labour, to enter into that rest and where are you labouring? You are labouring in the Word to enter into the rest of faith.
They will tell me in those days, we need eight million during the Faith Tabernacle, I said carry on and then suddenly, it came. It may surprise them, it didn’t surprise me. I won’t let them know what it was. “Carry on, somebody said go and do it. He didn’t complain.”
It always answers to time, no special core made ones to nobody, but always answer. Tomorrow, we shall be looking at the components of faith that makes it work; add to your faith, 1,2,3,4,5,6,7…. You want it to deliver, add to it. Don’t carry junks about, talking nonsense around town. Build your faith, treat your faith like an egg; don’t throw it around, it will break. Carry it like pregnancy; jealously guide the treasures of the Word, simply obeying the Word believingly and committing God, naturally to do His part.
– New day for every minister!
