TOPIC: THE HAND OF THE LORD – THE SECRET OF SPEED
Scripture: 1 Kings 18: 46. And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
Beloved , I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! We gave the introduction yesterday that the Hand of the Lord is the grace of God coming upon a man. Today, we shall look at one benefit of this Hand of the Lord.
Our opening scripture says:
Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah [giving him supernatural strength]. He girded up his loins and outran Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel [nearly twenty miles].
1 Kings 18:46 AMP
One major benefit of the Hand of the Lord is speed! You will notice that Elijah a man on foot gained speed to out run Ahab, a man on chariot.
The chariot of Ahab in those days was like a presidential jet of our time. So the chariot of Ahab must have been the best chariot. Elijah asked Ahab to start driving ahead because he understood the technology of gaining speed in this kingdom. When Elijah was done with prayer and the Hand of the Lord came upon him, he gained speed and was able to out run a man on chariot.
Beloved, the secret of speed in this Kingdom is the Hand of the Lord. Wait enough to secure the hand of the Lord and you will be on your way to the top. Do you observe the slow pace in your business? Are you experiencing staggered or stammering destiny?
Do you observe all your friends have gone ahead of you? Then all you need is the Hand of the Lord! When it comes upon you, everything will change. In this Kingdom over taking is allowed and the secret to overtaking is grace and that is the hand of the Lord!
Perhaps, you are saying; pastor all my mates that we graduated together have gone far ahead of me, yet I’m here nothing positive is happening in my life, no job, no meaningful business! Relax, and press for the Hand of the Lord, when the Hand of the Lord comes then grace arrives and you can fly.
Oh, pastor I’m due for marriage and nobody is even looking at my direction, nobody is asking for my hand in marriage, when the Hand of the Lord comes that story will become a thing of the past. Oh!
Your story is pastor all the people that we married at the same time now have four, five children but I’m still like that, no single child. I have a good news for you, the hand of the Lord will come upon your life this month and that means an end has come to that stagnant situation in your life.
The Hand of Grace that gives triplets, six children within the space of two years that grace is coming on you now in the name of Jesus. By the Hand of the Lord I prophesy grace for speed in the name of Jesus.
Beloved, you will dazzle your competitors by the Hand of the Lord;
Daniel 1: 19. And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king. 20. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.
Daniel and his friends were ten times better because the Hand of the Lord was upon them. The Hand of the Lord gives wisdom and understanding that enabled Daniel to stand in the king’s palace. This is why God instructed Moses to lay his hand on Joshua(Num.27;22-23).
The result was transference of the spirit of wisdom:
Deuteronomy 34: 9. And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
How do you secure the Hand of the Lord?
It is gotten in the place of prayer and impartation.
Remember this : Heaven is real and hell is real! The rejection of Jesus equals the acceptance to spend eternity in hell, give your heart to Christ today.

- Father thank you for your word to me today.
- Lord I receive your Hand for speed in all my endeavors in the name of Jesus. Prophetic Declaration ;
- I prophesy speed upon your life this season in the name of Jesus.
- Receive the grace to overtake in the name of Jesus.
