The dynamic pastor of the fast growing Dunamis International Gospel Center visits two Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camps in abuja. The pastor who is also a doctor by profession went with the churches group of doctors and his wife who is also a doctor.
The group went with a lot packaged for the camp members including foodstuffs and drugs even as the pastor and wife where seen counselling the camp members healthwise but the major highlight of the visit for the pastor must have been while ministering to the camp members spiritually when he preached for them and had them give their lives to Christ.
Gwoza and Bama camps are only few of the IDP camps existing in Nigeria. Such camps have seen sporadic growth since this year given to the increase effect of Boko Haram in the country.
Terrorism and natural disasters like the 2012 flooding are the major causes of internal displacement in the country as the number of people are as much as 1,538,982 as reported by The International Organization for Migration (IOM) and National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA).
