TOPIC: HOW TO MAINTAIN STRATEGIC RELATIONSHIPS

Beloved, I welcome you to another Moment of Daily Encounter! As we draw our conclusion on the subject matter UNDERSTANDING MAN to a close; we have considered man the complexity of human nature, the crown of God’s creation. We discovered the authority given to man, we discover man is a relational being hence we considered various categories of relationship! It is therefore necessary for us to look at how a man can maintain strategic relationships.
Why do we need to maintain relationships?
1. We need to maintain relationships because they bring us destiny helpers.( For details of this check previous edition)
2. We need to maintain relationships because relationships are the currency of men with true riches. This explains why you are not really Rich enough if you don’t have solid strategic relationship.
Our inability to maintain strategic relationship is the reason why we are some times grounded.
The reason why people are up today down tomorrow is this missing link, called relationship.
The money you need, the Anointing and whatever you are looking for is in the hands of men and it will take relationship with relevant persons to be able to access what they carried! Therefore we must do anything possible to maintain strategic relationship whenever God brings us in contact with one.
What then does it cost to maintain strategic relationships?
Any man that wants to maintain strategic relationships must be ready to pay the following prices:
1. It will cost you Honour: There are relationships that you can only maintain by honour especially gate keepers kind of destiny helpers! Honour means to esteemed a person! It is the discerning, the celebration, the rewarding of the usefulness of a person.
The cheapest form of expressing honour is by showing gratitude. If you can not say thank you for a simple acts of kindness recieve from either your husband or wife, it will be difficult to give honour in such relationship.
We must learn to honour all men to be able to maintain strategic relationship. Most gate keepers destiny helpers will required nothing from you as a feedback except honour. Learn to honour your way to the top.
2. It will cost you tolerance (Eph.4:2): Tolerance is forbearance! It is willingness to accept feelings, habits, or beliefs that are different from your own. There are some persons that are very difficult to relate with, yet you need their connection.
It will take you tolerance to maintain such relationship especially those you have identified as your destiny helpers. Tolerance means get ready to see the nonsense again!
The idea of I don’t take nonsense will not help certain relationships. We must learn to tolerate one another according to the scriptures;
Ephesians 4: 2. With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
There are those whom you are trying to groom and raise up yet they are constantly breaking your heart, here what the Bible said:
Ephesians 6: 9. And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.
Even between husband and wife we must learn to tolerate one another for the purpose of maintaining the relationship:
Colossians 3: 13. Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
There are marriages that about collapsing now not because they are not meant for each other! Infact, they had revelation of how they were destined to marry, prophecy also confirmed their revelation that they were meant for each other but now, they’re threatening to divorce because none of them could tolerate each other anymore!
Beloved, so it is with every destiny helpers! Be it your spouse or your boss! You must learn to tolerate him or her. Tolerance is the cord that must continuously bind you.
Remember this: Heaven is real and hell is real! The decision of where to spend eternity is best made now give your heart to Jesus today.
Prayer points:
– Father thank you for your word to me today.
– Lord, I ask for grace to maintain strategic relationship in Jesus name.
Prophetic Declaration
– I prophesy the favour that comes through strategic relationship is coming your way this season in the name of Jesus
– The lifting hands of the Lord lift you up this season. The favour you could not imagine, may you receive it this season in the name of Jesus.
Assignment: Is there any relationship you have abandoned because of offence. Determine to forgive and tolerate, so that you can keep on maintaining the relationship.
